Lyndsay Hayden, MEd, NBCT, BCBA
Lyndsay Younkin Hayden is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Educational Specialist, National Board Certified Special Education Teacher, an Autism Consultant, TEACCH Certified Teacher, and a professional tutor. Lyndsay served as Director of Curriculum and Administration at Accessible Hope from 2018, before transitioning to a consultant role in 2024 when she returned to her first passion: the classroom. Lyndsay is extremely passionate about helping students overcome academic and social struggles, as well as finding ways for students to recognize their strengths and interests. Lyndsay received her Bachelor of Business in Marketing from the University of Kentucky in 2003 and completed her Masters of Education with Certification in Special Education K-12 from Western Kentucky University in 2005. She continued her educational accolades within the field of Autism by completing Autism Specialist Coursework and Behavioral Analysis coursework.
Lyndsay has taught special education in the public school systems of Kentucky and Tennessee for elementary and middle school students. With over 12 years of teaching experience in the classroom as an educator, she has earned the prestigious National Board Certification, Teacher of the Year, Williamson County Shining Apple Award and Teacher of the Month, and was three-time award winner of the National Association of Special Education Teachers Top 25 National Special Education Teachers. Besides her education experience, Lyndsay has worked in corporate America as a graphic designer, event planner, and media buyer for major corporations.
Lyndsay served on the Board of Directors for Autism Tennessee, a nonprofit organization that helps families and individuals affected by Autism across the state of Tennessee, from 2017-2021. She currently serves on the board of Blind Early Services Tennessee (BEST).
